Best Friends

Kayla and Stoli weigh about the same now, and Stoli is older at almost 3 years, but guess who acts like the Big Boss? Kayla! She loves to pick on poor Stoli by pulling his ears and swatting him. Stoli usually just looks at Kayla helplessly and sulks away. No more king of the house for him!

We are looking forward to the day when Kayla and Stoli become best friends. We already see the bond forming, as Kayla is fond of 'feeding' Stoli her mini crackers, and Stoli is fond of waiting at Kayla's side until she drops them.

Happy Belated Easter!

Hope everyone had a joyous Easter with family and friends. We went over to Greg's brother's house down the street and got our eat on. Kayla got to play with her cousins and hang out in the grass. A very pleasant and relaxing Easter!

Kayla and I went to visit Grandma Martin yesterday. She is ready for Springtime to arrive in her pastel purple outfit!

Kayla has a love of all things electronic. From the TV remote, to our cell phones, to the camera - when she sees these items she must immediately grab them from us and hold on for dear life. I have a feeling this will be an expensive habit!

This week her favorite toy is still the piano. Like a true virtuoso, she plays best while standing and rocking out.

The other thing she is doing a lot of is crawling all over our hardwood floors. It must be easier to cruise around on than the carpet. Here she is looking really annoyed at us for all the camera flashing, we're like paparazzi...
