Here we are at LAX at 6 in the morning. Notice Kayla's little juicy couture flying ensemble (thanks auntie Joy!) As you can see she likes to travel in style
When baby sleeps, mommy sleeps too (notice Kayla laying across mommy's lap). Luckily for us, there was only one minor tantrum involved the whole flight, before her nap. You can say we 'cheated' though (we gave her baby benadryl with the blessing of our doctor).
The beautiful view from our hotel room. we used Starwood points to stay at the Sheraton, and because we are members they upgraded us to an amazing oceanview room for free! lucky us!
A dip in the pool as soon as we got to the hotel. Kayla just loved the water! She wasn't afraid at all and didn't even mind the cold as much and me or Greg!

We got a rollaway crib from the hotel, which Kayla took all her naps and night sleep in. As you can see we had to cover the side of the crib so she couldn't see out unless she stood up. It was hard to get her to sleep with us around! Most of the time Greg, grandma, and I were confined to the balcony until Kayla was sound asleep.
Here's Kayla in her floatie in the ocean. She liked tasting the salt water on her face by licking her lips.
She also loved playing in the sand. What a messy little thing!

We all got away from the kids with a booze cruise at sunset - it was me and Greg and his brother Jeff and his wife Becky. We had a great time!

My good girlfriend Kristin recently moved to Hawaii. We got to see her twice, once she met us on the beach and another night her and her fiance Bill had us over for dinner al fresco. It was so nice! (That's Kris in the background of this picture)
