School Fun!

Kayla is really enjoying school these days, the friends she is meeting, the great nutritious meals they provide, and all the latest toys!

One of her favorites is crawling through the clear tunnel, as evidenced by these pictures!

The other day my mom and Uncle Bill took Kayla to Disney's California Adventure for a couple of hours in the afternoon. They said she especially loved the water features in the park, as evident in this picture. She was having such a good time - we are definitely going to enroll her in swimming classes soon! *Photos courtesy of Uncle Bill, who is like a pro photographer.....

celebrating another year of marriage!

Last Sunday Greg and I went to Trump National to celebrate our 2nd anniversary. We did this last year too, and from now on we've decided to make it a tradition to go back to where we got married to reminisce on the day. However, every 5th year we plan to take a vacation instead! :)

One bit of good advice my doctor gave me was to make sure we take a couple's vacation every few years. And in every other year be sure to take a trip. The difference between a trip and vacation is that a trip involves the kids, on a vacation there are no kids allowed!

Anyways, this anniversary at Trump we ate till our stomachs were bursting, feasting on the Sunday brunch consisting of crab legs, caviar, seared ahi sashimi, sushi, ceviche, omelette bar, seafood pasta bar, chocolate fountain, meats and cheeses, and amazing desserts. It was wonderful!

Upon the recommendation of Kayla's caregivers at the daycare center, we recently tried letting her feed herself. Here's how it went........
