Getting into EVERYTHING!

Now that Kayla is so mobile we have to watch her at all times! She runs around and explores everything....extremely fun but tiring!

She actually sits still for a few minutes at a time to read books with us now. Her caregivers say that she loves books the best out of all the activities they have at the center....I hope as she grows she stays this way!


Her other favorite thing to do is eat! Last week daddy gave her a taste of our SPAM and she loved it. uh-oh!

Already playing 'mommy'!

Last weekend we got Kayla a cute stroller / bassinet / doll set. (I know, we get her a lot of toys, but hey, I work at Mattel!) It is soooo adorable the way she already plays 'mommy'! Kayla will walk the stroller around, rock the baby in the bassinet, and even feed them both the bottle and 'cereal' with a spoon. Then, when I make crying sounds she finds the pacifier and puts it in the baby's mouth. Heart-melting!

Kayla is really excited already, just by the box!



She even tries to lift it to get the contents out quicker!

Like any concerned mommy, she puts the little shield up so baby can sleep in peace and quiet.
